On 14 April, in the seminar session titled "A review of interferences of the Competition Board in the fuel markets", our professionals made their presentation under the topic of "Assessment on the Economic Analysis of Data and Approach Towards Resale Price Maintenance: 2020 Fuel Decision of the Competition Board". They discussed the 2020 Fuel Decision of the Competition Board in detail from an economic perspective. In this regard, under their broad experience in competition law theory and practice, they argued several in-demand topics such as standard of proof, effect and object of a conduct, and assessment of the evidence for the resale price maintenance. 2020 Fuel Decision of the Competition Board is significant for several reasons two of which are the evaluation of evidence and economic data and the approach taken through the decision-making process of the Competition Board. The seminar session lasted around 3 hours with an in-depth competitive analysis of the fuel markets in Turkey and the exhibition of different perspectives on the recent decisions of the Competition Board in the fuel sector.
